THESE WOMEN GOT BIDS, AND SO CAN YOU!

“I was so nervous going into sorority recruitment, especially going to a school with a competitive greek system. I knew very little about Greek life and I had absolutely no idea what to expect! Sloan's program taught me basically everything I needed to know and allowed me to have a successful recruitment experience. Before going through the program, I had no idea how to excel at small talk, the correct mindset I needed to have, the social media strategy, etc. and afterward, I seriously felt like such a pro! I felt extremely confident walking into sorority recruitment and I had very little nerves at all because Sloan prepared me for everything! Without the help of Sloan and this program, I do not think I would've ended up in my dream sorority and I cannot recommend this program enough!! Sloan is absolutely incredible and will help you receive a bid to your dream sorority!” — Gracie

“Being the first to go greek in my immediate family, I was a little worried that I would be out of the loop going to a college with competitive greek life but this program changed that. The program helps you find exactly what you are looking for as a PNM (potential new member) before even going through recruitment so you can find which chapter you mesh with best. It gave me insight into what chapters will ask and how you can respond in a way that best fits your own personality and interests!” — Megan

“I went through recruitment at a large SEC school my freshman year of college. To say that it went poorly would be an understatement. I was sad, rejected, and had no plans to go through recruitment again. But, I ended up transferring schools and after a lot of encouragement from friends, I decided to go through recruitment again. After going through Sloan’s program I finally saw and understood how recruitment works, what I did wrong the first time, and had a strategy in place to try again. Even in the midst of a pandemic, Sloan gave me strategies that worked and prepared me for virtual sorority recruitment. After going through recruitment my sophomore year I was kept by all of my top sororities and essentially got to choose which sorority I wanted. I am happy to say that I am now a member of Alpha Delta Pi. Thank you, Sloan!” — Emma

“Going through Ready for Recruitment helped me so much while prepping and going through the whole recruitment process. Before Ready for Recruitment, I had no idea how rush worked and how I could stand out as a PNM.  Thankfully Sloan worked with me and taught me the skills I needed to get into my top house! I’m beyond excited and I can’t recommend this program enough!” — Abby

“I came across Getting the Bid when I was preparing to go through recruitment and I can honestly say I am so happy I found Sloan! I love the sorority I joined and I am sure going through the process without her wouldn’t have been the same. Getting the Bid not only helped me get into the sorority of my dreams, but it taught me amazing small talk skills, helped me change my mindset about the process and overall made me so much more confident! I felt so prepared and comfortable going into recruitment, and having Sloan be there for me every step of the way made it so much easier and less stressful. I honestly recommend the Ready for Recruitment program to anyone that is thinking about or wants to go through sorority recruitment, you will learn skills that are not only for recruitment but for the rest of your life.” —Clarissa

“Sloan helped me a lot in building my confidence for rush! The way she walked me through how to effectively create small talk helped me really connect with the members of each sorority as I went through rush. I felt so prepared going into recruitment, and I knew exactly what I wanted from my future sorority experience thanks to the videos and journal prompts. I really don't think I would've had such a positive experience if it wasn't for Sloan!” — Allie

“Sloan was such a big help to my recruitment process! Whenever I needed her she was just a phone call or text away. Even when things switched I’m up on me at the last minute she totally helped me keep my cool and have a super easy transition!!” — Dylan

"I have always been a little shy, and I was worried that would impact my score. I decided to go through Ready for Recruitment because I wanted to learn how to small talk. “My recruitment journey was not an easy one or a normal one. I had gone through recruitment as a freshman and I did not find my home, I tried to COB and that didn't work so I began to feel hopeless. Then I found this program and Sloan and things started to look up. The experience I had in ready for recruitment was amazing and I finally started to feel like I had control of my recruitment experience. I felt more prepared going in, I felt like I understood the process more, and overall better mindset for the week. After going through this program I had a completely different outlook on sorority recruitment regardless of end result!” — Jessie

“When I joined Ready for Recruitment I was a junior going through recruitment for the second time. Even though I already had a basic understanding of what recruitment was, Sloan was able to help me better prepare myself for each round of recruitment. From helping me understand how scoring works to getting letters of recommendation to being there for me during rush week, Sloan was able to make me feel confident in a way I had not in the previous year. I cannot emphasize enough how much she, and the Ready for Recruitment program, calmed my nerves and increased my confidence during sorority recruitment.” — Kasey

“I rushed as a freshman and was so disappointed when I only got invited back to one sorority at the beginning of sisterhood round. Despite this, I decided to go thru recruitment again as a sophomore and that’s when I found Getting the Bid. This course was so helpful and Sloan was so hands-on during the whole process. I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone unsure of how the rush process works, it helps you be confident when talking to sorority members so you can show them who you truly are.” — Hannah

“Sloan was amazing!! Coming into Ready for Recruitment, I knew nothing about rush or how to even get into a sorority! However, I learned so much from her from just one summer, and every single day of recruitment/rush I received encouragement from her through all the highs and lows. Honestly, I’m sad that Ready for Recruitment is over because Sloan was genuinely such an amazing person and coach throughout the entire process. If you want to get into a sorority you love, feel confident during rush (and even everyday small talk!), I definitely recommend joining Ready for Recruitment!” —Emily

“When I first went through recruitment as a freshman, I was scared and anxious and had no idea how to stand out. Needless to say, despite being invited back to my favorite houses during all of recruitment, I was less than thrilled on preference and bid day. Of course, I tried to keep an open mind when I opened my envelope on bid day, but I knew that this sorority just wasn't for me.

I decided to try again as a sophomore, and that's when I found Getting The Bid! The course and e-books were so helpful. But even beyond that, my 1:1's and conversations with Sloan were really what allowed me to go into rush confidently- and more importantly, receive a bid! By sticking to Sloan's method and having a list of qualities I wanted in a sorority, I was able to choose the house that was right for me- not just the one I felt pressured to choose. I only just received my bid recently, but I already feel so welcome and changed as a person. I would recommend Getting The Bid to everyone- it changed my life for the better!” — Cheryl

“Sloan is the absolute best! She brought out the best of all of us so that we can present our best selves to sororities during recruitment. For as long as I could remember I’ve known that I wanted to be in a sorority, but ever since I was a kid I’ve viewed myself as shy and awkward and was so nervous to go through recruitment. wITH READY FOR RECRUITMENT, YOU KNOW WHAT THE MEMBERS ARE LOOKING FOR AND HOW TO STAND OUT

A misconception is that joining a sorority is like joining a club. It is not. Sororities are more than just a club. Most women stay in it for all four years of college. Then, after college, they continue to stay involved – volunteering for the sorority, staying in touch with their sister, moving across the country for a job and finding an alumnae chapter to join, etc. Joining a sorority can be an experience that changes your life.

To get a bid to a sorority you love, you want to be prepared and know how to get your bid. That way, you have options and get to control your experience. You are not picking the better of your last two options.

The problem is sorority recruitment can be confusing. Most potential new members are walking into sorority recruitment with a disadvantage because they did not prepare for sorority recruitment. When they are talking to members, they get stuck in the Average Conversation Cycle. They are never able to show off how amazing they are. Then throughout sorority recruitment, they are disappointed with their options.

That does not have to be your experience. You deserve to get a bid to a sorority you love! You deserve to live out your dream college experience!

To get your bid, you do not need advice. You want to use a plan full of strategies. These strategies will help you optimize sorority recruitment, get your name out there, have options, and run home to a sorority you love.
