Are you looking at sororities’ instagrams and trying to picture yourself in that sorority?
Have you made a list of the sororities you want to join?
Or a list of the sororities you don’t want to join?
What if I told you, you are creating a sorority recruitment Burn Book. You are eliminating sororities based off what you heard, saw, think….
Creating a Burn Book for sorority recruitment is the number one sin of sorority recruitment.
Plus, it's going to make sorority recruitment 100 times harder.
Okay, that might be a little dramatic.
But, it will make sorority recruitment harder.
WANT TO KNOW 5 WAYS TO STAND OUT FROM ALL THE OTHER POTENTIAL NEW MEMBERS?
When you go into sorority recruitment with a list of sororities you want to join, you are going in closed minded.
You are judging off an image not an experience.
You are not giving all the sororities a chance.
It’s like you are wearing blinders.
Without knowing it, you will be closed off to connections.
You might even try to fit a certain image.
Faking it until you make it will only get you so far. Girls will see right through it.
Plus, you are trying to find a group of girls who you want to spend your next four years with!!
Going into sorority recruitment with an open mind will make sorority recruitment a lot easier!
It will allow you to see the sorority members for who they are!
It will allow you to make genuine connections!
It will allow you to be your most authentic self!
It will allow you to find your dream sorority!
It will allow you to share your truth!
I know this sounds like a simple concept. You are probably thinking, “Yeah, yeah, yeah I will give every sorority a chance.” However, it is so easy to get wrapped up in trying to get into the "best" sorority on campus.
Having an open mind will allow you to find your home. It will allow you to find your best friends. It will make college so much easier.
Each day of sorority recruitment remind yourself that you never know which sorority you are going to connect with, so why not give all of the sororities a chance!
